A doctor was shot dead in broad daylight in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on Saturday. The incident took place in Muradnagar police station area when he was visiting patients at his clinic.
According to information, around 10.30am, several miscreants barged into the clinic and shot Dr. Shamshad (40) twice. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
DCP rural Ravi Kumar and ACP Nimish Patil reached the spot after receiving information. According to DCP Ravi Kumar, the assailants reached the clinic on a bike, shot Shamshad and fled. The number of attackers is not yet clear.
The police started investigating the case.
